About
Nora Kolberg
Nora
and her family live in the Loveland, Ohio area. She is a native
of Indiana and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern
Illinois University. Nora has completed a number of commissioned
works for corporate and private buyers, including a poster and
note cards for the Cincinnati Zoo.(see commissioned work)
She also donates her services and works to a number of local organizations
and is a member of the Cincinnati Art Club.
Her
work has been sold in various exhibits where she has received
a variety of awards. Some of the exhibits and competitions include
the Loveland Art Club Exhibits, the 1996 Base Art Invitational,
1997 Mainstrasse Art Collaborative, Clermont County Exhibition,
Carnegie Annual Fund Raiser, The Fitton Center, the Cincinnati
Art Club's Viewpoint '97 and '98 national exhibits and the 2004
Women’s Art
Club of Cincinnati Exhibit held at Maple Knoll. One of her pieces
is part of the permanent collection of The Loveland Historical
Museum.

Currently,
Nora is working as a Teacher’s
Aide in the Loveland City School District where she taught Basic
Drawing through the Loveland PTA Specialty Class Program. Through
her home-based business, Creekside Design, Nora offers Basic
Drawing classes for both children and adult students.
